Every season comes with its own set of challenges. Although we're technically approaching Fall it doesn't seem like the temperature will be dropping any time soon. Here are 8 tips for keeping your skin hydrated and supple while we wait for cooler weather:

Hydrate.
Make sure you’re getting 10-12 cups of water daily.  It can be hard at first but start with fewer and work your way up. It really makes a huge difference in the appearance of your skin.

Eat your water.
Skip the ice cream and eat water rich foods instead like cucumbers, lettuce, apples, melons, and oranges that are also high in antioxidants and nutrients.

Cleanse.
Do you have a daily cleansing ritual? If not, it's never too late to start. Make sure you wash your face before you go to bed to wash away dirt and impurities. Cleanse, tone and moisturize. I love the HAYAH Organics Deep Moisturizing Facial Balm especially at night. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple in the morning.

Exfoliate.
Exfoliating with a facial polish or a gentle cotton towel helps remove dead skin cells that can make our skin look dull if we do otherwise. Just don’t over do it. Exfoliating 2-3 times a week is more than enough.

Use Sunscreen.
Sometimes this step if forgotten but sunscreen is crucial to protect our skin from harmful UV rays.

Keep Makeup at a Minimum.
If you want a ‘glowing-from-within’ look, stay away from heavy makeup and make sure to wash your face very well before bed.

Do a Little Extra.
Make ice cubes out of a mixture of tomato and lemon juice. It has a wonderful cooling, brightening, and exfoliating effect.

Give Your Skin Some Love.
Make a mixture of milk and honey and apply it to your face for 20-30 minutes. Homemade face masques don’t come any easier.
